To assist campus communicators with Keynote and PowerPoint presentations, the university maintains both formal and informal design templates. Master templates for these designs can be found in Downloads. Altering typefaces, watermarks and colors within the templates is strongly discouraged.
Formal template
The formal William & Mary presentation template uses the serif typeface, Palatino Linotype. Serif typefaces are considered more formal than sans-serif typefaces.
The formal template uses exclusively William & Mary colors and provides templates for watermarked slides using the cypher as a decorative graphic.
Examples of use
Informal template
The informal William & Mary presentation template uses the sans-serif typeface, Arial. Sans-serif typefaces are less formal than serif typefaces and are thus suitable for informal presentations.
