Departments, offices and programs are discouraged from developing custom logos. An abundance of logos produces a diluted brand, one that is not consistent and recognizable. Campus units are encouraged to adopt an official William & Mary signature lockup for communications.
Signature Lockups
Signature lockups, or logo lockups, are the preferred method for visually depicting university sub-brands. Campus units who want to adopt a formalized mark that includes the name of the university and the cypher may choose from a set of five templates. A unit may employ one or all five versions of the lockup to best suit their needs. Lockups may be requested from University Web & Design.
